At Hungry Sailor, we believe in a friendly, fast and flavoursome experience. Providing a great range of fish, tasty sides and fresh burgers. The Sailor has his own unique recipes, if it can be made from scratch, that's what he'll do. We work hard to provide helpful and happy service and want to make your experience simple and delicious!
Our Atmosphere
The Hungry Sailor strives to create a comfortable and relaxed, family friendly environment. We have indoor and outdoor seating available, a great range of food and plenty of room for everyone! For the adults there is an array of refreshing beverages on offer. The little ones don't miss out though, we have the lucky dip ice cream freezer and fun games to play while you wait!

Menu
Fish
All our seafood is sourced from Mooloolah River Fisheries. Please choose how you'd like it prepared, either in our house-made batter, thrown in breadcrumbs or grilled in garlic butter.
Deep Sea Cod
Delicate salty-sweet flavour, very tender and unique light texture.
Red Spot Emperor
Mild, slightly sweet flavour and low oiliness.
Gold Band Snapper
Mild, slightly sweet and nutty.
Barramundi
A meaty and succulent fish. We recommend the barramundi if you prefer your fish grilled.
Grilled Fish GF
Choose your fish and have it grilled in garlic butter.
Sides
Load it up! Feast on our appetizing selections of sides.
Calamari
Marinated for 24 hours, hand-crumbed, and fried to perfection. 8 to 10 pieces per serve.
Sailors Special Garlic Prawns
Juicy prawns marinated in garlic. Have them fried in our house batter or grilled in garlic butter as a gluten-free option.

We are happy to accommodate changes to your order. However please note that we can adjust only during our less busy times to ensure we maintain our service and standards for all customers. On public holidays, we may run a limited menu that will be advertised on our social media pages.
